About the role
NASHE GROUP PTY LTD is seeking a compassionate and dedicated
Disability Support Worker
to join our team in Geraldton, WA. This is a
full-time position
offering an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities. In this role, you will provide essential support services that enable clients to achieve greater independence, dignity and quality of life. Your work will be fundamental to our mission of delivering person-centred care and support within our local community.
Key responsibilities
Provide direct personal care and support to clients with disabilities, including assistance with activities of daily living, mobility, hygiene and grooming
Support clients in accessing community activities, social participation and recreational opportunities
Assist with meal preparation, shopping and household tasks as required
Maintain accurate and detailed records of support provided and client progress
Communicate effectively with clients, their families and the broader support team to ensure coordinated care
Assist clients with appointments and accompany them to medical, educational and social engagements
Support clients in developing life skills and promoting their independence and autonomy
Follow person-centred care plans and adapt support to individual client needs
Maintain a secure and clean environment in line with health and safety standards
Report safeguarding concerns and incidents in accordance with organisational policy
What we're looking for
A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and commitment to person-centred care
Previous experience in disability support, aged care or a related community services role
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships




Physical capability to assist with personal care and mobility support
Reliability, punctuality and excellent time management
Flexibility and adaptability when responding to client needs
A valid First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one
Current Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain one)
Current Driver's Licence and reliable access to transport
A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries
Problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
