Authentic Collectables

Western Australia

Join Australia's Leading Premium Diecast Model Manufacturer
Authentic Collectables is Australia's leading producer of premium licensed diecast model vehicles. We work with some of the world's biggest motorsport teams, manufacturers and automotive brands to create highly detailed collectables that are sold throughout Australia, New Zealand and internationally.
Every model we produce begins with meticulous research, technical accuracy and an uncompromising commitment to authenticity. From Supercars to Sprintcars, historic race winners and road cars, our products are designed for passionate collectors who expect the very best.
We're now looking for an experienced
Senior Product Designer (Graphic Design)
to join our growing Product Development team.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you'll play a key role in transforming reference photography, technical information and licensed brand assets into production-ready products.
This is
not
a traditional marketing or advertising design role.
Instead, you'll work at the intersection of graphic design, product development and manufacturing, creating the artwork and technical assets that ultimately become highly detailed diecast models.
You'll collaborate closely with our internal production team, international manufacturing partners and licensing stakeholders to ensure every product meets Authentic Collectables' exacting standards before it reaches collectors around the world.
If you enjoy precision, problem solving and creating physical products that people genuinely treasure, this is a unique opportunity unlike almost any other design role in Australia.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be responsible for:
Developing production-ready artwork for licensed diecast model vehicles and associated products.
Creating accurate vector artwork using Adobe Illustrator.
Editing and preparing photographic reference material using Adobe Photoshop.
Interpreting reference photography and supplied manufacturer assets to accurately recreate vehicle liveries, branding and graphics.
Reviewing factory renders, proofs and production samples, identifying any discrepancies before approval.
Working closely with the Production Manager to ensure projects are delivered accurately and on schedule.

Preparing artwork and supporting documentation for overseas manufacturing partners.
Maintaining organised product files, artwork libraries and production documentation.
Assisting in refining and improving internal product development processes.
Contributing ideas that improve both our products and the way we develop them.
What We're Looking For
Essential
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
Solid working knowledge of Adobe InDesign.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Strong organisational and project management skills.
The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills.
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
A genuine commitment to producing consistently high-quality work.
Highly Regarded
While not essential, experience in any of the following would be highly regarded:
3D rendering software such as V-Ray, Blender, KeyShot, Cinema 4D or similar.
Product visualisation or CAD workflows.
Artwork preparation for manufacturing or production.
Packaging, signage, vehicle wraps or technical illustration.
Working with licensed brands or intellectual property.
Automotive, motorsport or collectables industries.
Training can be provided in areas such as V-Ray and our specialised product development processes for the right applicant.
About You
You're someone who enjoys precision just as much as creativity.
You naturally notice details that others miss and take pride in producing work that is organised, accurate and technically sound.
You enjoy solving visual problems, learning new skills and working as part of a collaborative team where quality is valued above shortcuts.
A genuine interest in motorsport, automotive culture or scale models would be an advantage, but above all we're looking for someone who enjoys creating exceptional products and is excited to learn.
