Holfords Pools is seeking a
Sales Assistant
to join our team on a
contract basis
at our Bellevue Hill store in NSW. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic retail environment, where you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales. As a Sales Assistant, you will be the face of our business, helping customers find the perfect products to meet their pool and leisure needs whilst building lasting relationships and contributing to our store's success.
What you'll be doing
Greeting customers warmly and providing expert assistance in selecting products that meet their specific requirements
Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system
Maintaining product knowledge across our range of pool and leisure items to provide informed recommendations
Restocking shelves and displays to ensure merchandise is well-presented and readily available
Handling cash and card payments with accuracy and attention to security procedures
Responding to customer enquiries and resolving issues in a skilled and courteous manner
Supporting the team with general store duties including cleaning and organisation
What we're looking for
Previous retail or customer service experience, preferably in a sales environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers




Strong numeracy skills and proficiency with point-of-sale systems
A positive, friendly attitude and genuine enthusiasm for delivering outstanding customer service
The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Physical capability to lift and handle merchandise throughout your shift
Reliability and punctuality with flexibility to work retail hours
Willingness to learn about products and develop product knowledge
Basic computer literacy and attention to detail
