As aPlant Operator, you'll play an important role in helping healthcare facilities safely manage medical waste. From operating specialized equipment to ensuring accurate documentation and safe processing procedures, every day brings something different.

What will your job involve?

Receive, weigh, and process incoming sharps and regulated medical waste containers
Operate our autoclavesystem for medical waste treatment
Load and operateour Washsmart container sanitization system
Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment following trainingas needed
Routinely liftcontainers weighing up to55 lbs.
Push loaded cartsweighing up to200 lbs.
Spend the majority of your shiftstanding, walking, bending, reaching, and moving materialsthroughout the facility
Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate processing records
Follow allsafety, quality, and complianceprocedures
Collaboratewith a hardworking team to keep operations running smoothly
What are we looking for?

Someone who enjoysphysical, hands-on workand is comfortable in a fast-paced industrial setting
Experience in physically demanding roles such as warehouse, manufacturing, construction, landscaping, shipping/receiving, sanitation, or similar environmentspreferred (not required)
Ability to repeatedly lift, move, and transport materials throughout an entire shift
Ability to lift up to55 lbs. regularlyand safely push carts weighing up to200 lbs.
Comfortable standing and being active for the duration of an 8+ hour shift
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
Reliable attendance and a proven track record of dependability
