Laurieton Lakeside Aged Care Residence is seeking Registered Nurses to join our clinical team today. Applicants must be committed to quality, safety, be resident focused and have a great attitude. Position Description
Registered Nurses at Laurieton Lakeside are responsible for the following duties and tasks (not limited to):
Assessment and care planning.
Resident case conferences and family consultations.
Monthly care statements.
Administration of medications.
Monitoring of resident deterioration and escalation pathways.
Oversight of assistant nursing team, including leadership and delegation.
Doctor's and Nurse Practicioner rounds.
Completion of mandatory training and education.
Attendence and contribution to staff meetings.
Adherence to facility policies and process, Strengthened Aged Care Standards and the Act Care Act.

Salary Range
$85,000 - $120,000
Skills and Experience Required
Current Practicing Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
Must have current Police Check (Nationally recognised check).
Experience in aged care essential.




Knowledge of regulations and AN-ACC funding highly regarded.
Passion for delivering quality care.
Excellent time management skills.
How are our RNs supported?
Clinical management team includes DON, Clinical Managers, Clinical Coordinator and Clinical Educator.
Onsite pharmacist 3 days per week to support registered staff, conduct resident medication reviews, consult with GPs about medications and speak with residents and families about medications.
We have an onsite physiotherapist, occupational therapist and physio assistant as part of the allied health team – these staff are employees (not contractors).
