About the roleMSS Security is seeking a Part‐Time Security Officer in Cairns.
The successful candidate must hold a current NV1 Clearance and will work in a professional and supportive environment.
This position is part‐time with the possibility of transition to full‐time.Duties and ResponsibilitiesMonitor CCTV cameras, alarms, access control systems, and radio communications to maintain site safety and security.Manage visitor and contractor access, issue passes, and assist with site entry requirements.Respond to customer enquiries and communicate with emergency services and other stakeholders when required.Conduct foot patrols, record incidents, complete paperwork, and maintain accurate records using computer systems.Required Skills and ExperienceAustralian Citizen.NV1 Certificate II or higher in Security Operations.Current QLD Security licence.Current First Aid & CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain).
Availability to work a 24/7 roster without restrictions.Master licence: ***** (if applicable).
