At Oscar Wylee, optical dispensing brings together fashion, healthcare and exceptional customer service.
We're looking for an experienced Optical Dispenser or retail sales professional to join our Warringah Mall team in a casual role. You'll help customers find eyewear they love while supporting their eye care journey from prescription through to the perfect pair of glasses.
You'll also work closely with our experienced Store Partner as part of our Joint Venture Partnership model, giving you exposure to experienced business leadership and the opportunity to learn more about the commercial and operational side of retail.
What You'll Be Doing
Provide outstanding customer service and personalised eyewear styling advice
Assist customers in selecting frames that suit their style, lifestyle and optical needs
Dispense lenses and frames based on prescriptions provided by our Optometrists
Build genuine relationships with customers and create an experience that keeps them coming back
Support the wider team to achieve store and customer service goals
Assist with store opening and closing procedures
Maintain high standards of store presentation and day-to-day operations
About You
You'll bring:
1+ years of optical industry experience or 2+ years of retail sales experience
Previous experience with store opening and closing responsibilities
A genuine passion for customer service, fashion and styling
Strong attention to detail and basic numerical skills
Confident, clear and proactive communication skills
The ability to build positive relationships with customers and teammates
A friendly, energetic attitude and willingness to learn
