What You'll Be Doing
Responsible for Credit Control and Debt Collection
Monitoring of RI claim recoveries that fall due / overdue and unreconciled aged RI premiums
Computation/investigation/rectification of financial technical transactions relating to claims and premiums
Liaise with other departments (Finance and Ceded Re TA & TO) on discrepancies and assist to resolve them with engagement of both internal functions and external parties (Reinsurer & Brokers)
Reconciliation of RI/brokers statement
Monitoring & matching of receipts and unallocated receipts
Accelerating the collection process on aged RI claim recoveries
Engage with RI/brokers on a regular basis to establish rapport and facilitate issues resolution
Monthly reporting of credit control balances analysis
Provide & contribute towards senior management with reporting packs
Adhere to all internal company procedures including administrative procedures, expenses, health & safety
Ensure that, as an AXA XL employee, you are representing the AXA XL organisation in a professional and appropriate manner
Ad hoc projects as may be directed
You will report to Team Lead, Credit Control ASIA.
What You Will Bring
Required Skills And Abilities
Relevant related work experience
Experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus
Up to date appreciation of the technical requirements of the role
Proven ability to identify and analyse problems, create positive solutions, and deploy sound decision‐making skills
Demonstrable evidence of interpreting and manipulating data clearly and accurately, and ability to extract key points
Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous eye for inconsistencies or inaccuracies in data entry or outputs
Ability to organise self (and others if applicable) including effective scheduling, prioritisation, and time management skills, completing tasks to tight deadlines
Demonstrates a 'can do' attitude
Comfortable taking ownership of own work, identifying the need for action (using initiative) whilst working effectively within a team
Displays a resilient and adaptable style, track record of remaining calm in demanding circumstances, adjusting comfortably to changing conditions / priorities

Desirable Knowledge And Skills
Proven track record of providing consistently first‐class customer service internally and/or externally
Ability to build effective working relationships, establishing credibility among a wide and demanding client group
Excellent communication skills, a confident and articulate presenter to internal and external audiences, exercising appropriate discretion
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; specifically Power BI, Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
