An exciting opportunity has opened up for an Events Coordinator to join our team!
This role is responsible for the planning, preparation, marketing, delivery and continuous improvement of events held by Electrotechnology Training Institute (ETI).
Your duties and responsibilities:
Coordinate all event logistics
Coordinate the events registration process
Assist in generating registrations
Act as the point of contact for all ECA WA events
Liaise with and coordinate all event suppliers
Coordinate the travel arrangements prior to each event
Coordinate staff responsibilities during each event
Coordinate the on-the-day delivery of the event
Develop and distribute internally a calendar of events
Ensure the delivery of events within the budget set by the Operations Manager
Provide post event performance and analysis reports
Liaise with sponsors in relation to event scheduling and all general advantages / entitlements
Ensure sponsors are registered to events and assist if required
Follow up with key stakeholders to ensure continual improvement of future events
Coordinate the marketing plans for events
Assist with the design and preparation of content for event marketing and event merchandising materials
Coordinate the promotion and telemarketing of events
Provide assistance in the coordination,
delivery and maintenance of event marketing campaigns
Source, appoint and liaise with marketing related suppliers
Negotiate agreements and contract with marketing related suppliers
Negotiate the deadlines for delivery from marketing related suppliers
Generate and post content from events to ECA WA's relevant social media accounts.
What you'll need to succeed:
Highly developed problem-solving skills
Highly developed attention to detail
Highly developed customer service skills
Willingness to undertake light event set up duties
Willingness to work outside of normal working hours and travel if required
Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
Essential:
Experience in coordinating corporate events from planning to delivery stage.
Experience in assisting with the production of events related marketing material
Proven ability to adhere to budget constraints
Well-developed organisational and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Current class C drivers licence
Desirable:
Experience managing corporate events
Experience in preparing budgets and financial performance reports
Knowledge of design software, preferably In-Design, Photoshop and Canva.
