Ashburton Aboriginal Corporation (AAC) is continuing to strengthen and grow our Employment Services team and is seeking an experienced and motivated
Team Leader
to join our Karratha office.
This is an exciting opportunity for a values driven leader who is passionate about supporting people, developing teams, and creating positive outcomes for community.
As part of our continued organisational growth and evolving service delivery model, this newly available leadership opportunity will play a key role in supporting staff, participants, employers, and community stakeholders.
About the Role
You will provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and support to a team delivering employment and participant services across the region.
You will foster a positive team culture while ensuring services are delivered in a professional, culturally safe, and participant-focused and compliant manner.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor and support a team of employment services professionals
Drive team performance and participant outcomes
Foster a positive, respectful and inclusive workplace culture
Support recruitment, onboarding, training and staff development
Ensure contractual, compliance and reporting requirements are met
Build and maintain strong relationships with employers and community stakeholders
Promote culturally safe, strengths-based and trauma-informed service delivery
Monitor service quality and support continuous improvement initiatives
Contribute to workplace health and safety and organisational compliance requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Experience leading, supervising or coordinating teams
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Experience within employment services, community services, case management or a related field
The ability to motivate and develop employees to achieve outstanding outcomes
Strong organisational and administrative skills
A commitment to culturally respectful service delivery and community engagement
A current driver's licence and the ability to travel within the region when required.
