The Opportunity
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Architect with 5-7+ years experience to join our friendly team.
Working closely with Project Leaders and Company Directors you will play a key role in the design, documentation and construction phase for a diverse range of architectural projects varying in scale and complexity.
You will also have the opportunity to build your profile with a practice that is actively engaged with the Canberra property sector.
With a number of projects underway and a strong pipeline of future work and opportunities for progression within AMC,
this is an exciting opportunity for a project architect to hone their skills and broaden their experience within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Assist the Project Director/Project Leader in the development of design concepts and the preparation of documentation packages
Liaise effectively with key stakeholders throughout the delivery of projects including clients, subconsultants, planning authorities and building contractors
Assist in the development and presentation of project deliverables.
Experience + Qualifications
Architectural Registration (any state or territory)
Post-graduate degree in Architecture
Minimum 5 years practical experience post-graduation
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Proven ability to lead, coordinate and manage teams effectively (including subconsultants) to deliver optimal project outcomes
Strong technical expertise and working knowledge of the NCC/BCA and Australian Standards
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders
Proficiency with Revit and/or BIM will be highly regarded
