Evergreen Morisset

New South Wales

At Evergreen, we believe Outside School Hours Care should be more than somewhere children go before and after school.
We are a place where primary school aged children feel known, supported and excited to spend their time, surrounded by caring educators, engaging experiences and a strong sense of belonging.
We're looking for an experienced, confident, caring and capable Service Manager to lead our OOSH service in Morisset.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys developing a great team, building strong relationships with families and schools, and creating a service that children genuinely look forward to attending.
About the Role
As Service Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operation of the service.
You'll lead and support a team of educators, oversee programming and compliance, manage general service administration and build positive relationships with children, families, school staff and the wider community.
This isn't a role where you'll be managing from the sidelines.
We want a Service Manager who is happy to jump into an activity, support an educator, solve a problem, chat with families at pick-up and be actively involved in creating a fantastic experience for everyone who walks through the doors.
What Your Week Looks Like
This is a permanent, full-time position working 38 hours per week, combining time on-the floor with dedicated administration hours.
Our operating hours between 6:30am-6:30pm so you'll work across a variety of split shifts, Monday to Friday during school terms; and a combination of shift types during vacation care.
Your remaining hours are dedicated to administration time, allowing you to focus on programming, compliance, enrolments, rostering, team development and continuous improvement.
We also understand that flexibility matters.
Your administration hours can be arranged around the needs of the service and, where appropriate, may be completed from home or spread across the working week.
What you'll be doing
As Service Manager, you'll:
Lead the day-to-day operation of the OOSH service
Support, mentor and develop a team of educators in creating engaging, child-led programs aligned with My Time, Our Place

Build positive relationships with children, families, school staff and the wider community
Maintain a child safe, inclusive and welcoming environment
Ensure the service meets its responsibilities under the National Quality Framework, National Law and Regulations
Oversee incident reporting, risk management and service documentation
Support reflective practice, continuous improvement and quality outcomes
Manage service resources and contribute to future growth
Create enriching experiences that primary-aged children genuinely enjoy
What you'll bring to the role
We're looking for an experienced, confident, capable and caring leader who is passionate about supporting their team and creating a high-quality OOSH environment.
To be considered for the role, you will have:
A current NSW Working With Children Check for paid employment
A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or another ACECQA-approved qualification suitable for OOSH service management; or similar
Completed mandatory National Child Safety Training (foundational or higher)
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management qualifications
Food Safety certification, or willingness to complete it
Full Australian working rights
Leadership experience within an OOSH setting
A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Regulations, and My Time, Our Place
Excellent communication, organisational and team leadership skills
Unrestricted Car, or higher, drivers licence.
Previous experience as an OOSH Centre Manager or Service Manager would be highly regarded, but it is not essential.
The Successful Candidate
Lead with confidence, kindness and a genuine interest in helping both children and educators thrive
Enjoy working in a lively environment and can stay calm,

organised and solutions-focused when plans change
Build strong, respectful relationships with families, educators, school staff and the wider community
Are comfortable making decisions, solving problems and taking ownership of your service
Love creating meaningful, engaging experiences for primary-aged children
Can balance the fun, people-focused side of OOSH with the organisation, compliance and administration that keeps a outstanding service running
Bring enthusiasm, reliability and positive energy to your team each day
Believe strong leadership means being visible, approachable and willing to jump in when your team needs you
As part of Evergreen's commitment to providing safe environments for children, successful applicants are required to complete and maintain all mandatory National Child Safety Training as part of their employment.
What You Can Expect From Us
We want our team to feel supported, valued and confident in the work they do.
In return, we offer:
An above-award salary
The ECEC Worker Retention Payment
Flexible Administration Hours
Generous staff discounts
Employment Assistance Program
Ongoing support, mentoring and guidance from an experienced and approachable leadership team
Genuine opportunities to grow with a family-owned and expanding organisation

Come Grow With Evergreen
If you're already leading an OOSH service and looking for a workplace where you'll be supported and trusted, or you're an experienced educator or coordinator ready to take the next step, we'd love to hear from you.
We're looking for someone who wants to do more than manage a service.
We want someone who wants to build a great team, create a place children love coming to and become an important part of the school community.
