Community Support Workers
to join our growing team.
About the Role
As a Community Support Worker, you will work directly with NDIS participants in their homes and within the community.
Every participant is different, so your day may involve supporting someone to attend an appointment, go shopping, participate in a community activity, develop everyday living skills or complete tasks around the home.
We are looking for people who are patient, respectful and genuinely enjoy helping others.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties may include:
Supporting participants with community access and social activities
Assisting participants to attend appointments, shopping and other activities
Encouraging independence and development of everyday life skills
Providing assistance with daily living and household tasks
Supporting meal preparation and basic domestic activities
Providing personal care where required
Supporting participants to work towards their individual NDIS goals
Providing transport and assistance within the community
Following individual support plans and participant preferences
Maintaining clear and accurate progress notes
Communicating professionally with participants, families and the wider support team
Promoting participant choice, dignity, privacy and independence

Flexible with working hours
Committed to providing safe and person-centred support
Previous disability, aged care, community services or support work experience is highly regarded.
Essential Requirements
Applicants should have, or be willing to obtain:
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working With Children Check, where required
National Police Clearance
Current First Aid and CPR
Valid Australian driver's licence
Reliable and insured vehicle
Appropriate working rights in Australia
A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services or a related qualification is desirable but not essential for suitable applicants.
