Melville Subaru – Full time Position
Melville Subaru is seeking a qualified and experienced
Automotive Technician
to join our busy Service Department.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a professional, high-performing dealership that takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.
About the Role
As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of Subaru vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.
You will work within a clean, modern workshop alongside an experienced and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out scheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs
Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults
Perform vehicle inspections and accurately report any additional work required
Complete warranty repairs in accordance with Subaru Australia procedures
Use diagnostic equipment and manufacturer technical information
Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
Maintain accurate job-card and repair-order documentation
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
About You
The successful applicant will have:
A recognised Australian automotive trade qualification
Previous experience as an Automotive Technician
Strong mechanical,



electrical and diagnostic skills
Excellent attention to detail and pride in their workmanship
The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
A reliable, positive and professional attitude
A current WA manual driver's licence
Subaru or dealership experience would be highly regarded; however, it is not essential, as manufacturer training will be provided.
