About the role
Australian Certified Winches is seeking an
Engineering Administrator
to join our team on a
Part time or
full-time basis
at our Yatala, Queensland location.
This is a pivotal administrative role that provides essential support to our engineering operations and contributes directly to the smooth functioning of our business.
You will be the backbone of our engineering department, managing critical documentation, communications and administrative processes that enable our engineers to focus on delivering high-quality products and services.
Key responsibilities
Managing and maintaining engineering documentation, specifications, drawings and technical records
Processing and tracking engineering projects from initiation through to completion
Preparing reports, presentations and correspondence related to engineering activities
Liaising with internal departments and external clients to support project delivery
Maintaining filing systems and databases for technical information and project records
Assisting with procurement documentation and supplier communications
Providing administrative support to engineering management and project teams
Answering enquiries and directing communications to appropriate personnel
Ensuring compliance with relevant documentation and filing procedures
What we're looking for
Proven experience in an administrative or office support role, preferably within an engineering, manufacturing or technical workplace
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
Proficiency in Acconex platform
Proficiency in SAP Ariba platform
Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Customer service orientation and professional manner when dealing with internal and external stakeholders
Familiarity with project management or technical documentation is advantageous
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel occasionally if required
