About the Role
Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the General Manager, you will lead the day-to-day finance function of Liveasy Care.
This is a senior hands-on accounting role where you'll oversee financial reporting, payroll, compliance and continuous improvement while mentoring and supporting a small finance team.
You'll be supported by
two Finance Officers
who manage the day-to-day
Accounts Receivable (AR)
and
Accounts Payable (AP)
functions, allowing you to focus on financial reporting, payroll oversight, statutory compliance, financial controls and strategic business support.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day finance function.
Mentor, coach and develop two Finance Officers responsible for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes,
ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Manage and review the fortnightly payroll process using KeyPay, ensuring compliance with all legislative requirements.
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Complete month-end journals, reconciliations and balance sheet reviews.
Prepare BAS, GST, Payroll Tax and other statutory reporting obligations.
Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
Support annual budgeting, year-end financial statements and external audits.
Develop and strengthen financial controls, reporting processes and system improvements.
Work closely with the CEO and General Manager by providing financial analysis and commercial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and relevant legislation.
Identify opportunities to improve business performance through process improvement and automation.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Essential
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance.
CPA or CA qualified (or working towards).
Minimum 5 years' experience in a Financial Accountant or similar senior accounting role.
Strong experience using Xero.
Experience using KeyPay or similar payroll software.
Demonstrated experience overseeing payroll and statutory reporting.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, BAS, GST and Payroll Tax.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
Previous experience mentoring, coaching or supervising finance staff.
A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
Highly Desirable
Experience within the
NDIS, disability, healthcare, aged care or community services sector
.
Understanding of NDIS funding and participant billing.
Experience working in a high-volume payroll environment.
Experience supporting a growing multi-site organisation.

Our standard office hours are
9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday
