Valley Fasteners Gunnedah has an exciting new role and position for an Assistant Branch Manager.
The Assistant Branch Managers role is to assist the Managers role and to work within the business, direct all work performed in the branch and to supervise all areas of operation while maintaining a strong focus on sales, presentation and customer service.
As the assistant manager the core responsibility is to support the manager and foster a positive and healthy workplace culture and environment and where necessary, provide instruction, training and direction for all staff.
The Assistant Branch Manager must have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies as directed by the manager that increase productivity and enable sales targets to be achievable.
The Assistant Branch Manager must be across the daily/weekly/monthly accounting procedures, reporting and financial obligations of the business and be able to report to the senior managers and directors of the business.
The Assistant Branch Manager is responsible for the delivery of the team key performance indicators.
Customer Service
Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling client relationships.
Regulations/WHS
Comply with all WH&S; regulations and applicable laws
Familiarity with industry's rules and regulations
Conducting weekly toolbox meetings
Conduct formal and informal building and workplace inspections.
Financial
Meet or exceed company net profit goals
Manage monthly reporting
Staff
Bring out the best of branch's personnel by providing training, coaching, development and motivation.
Recognising employee achievements, encouraging excellence in the work environment.
Ensure compliance with company and industry policies and procedures.
General Business
Identify areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities
