About The Opportunity
NSW Health Pathology is seeking a Product Customer and Support Officer to work as part of a dynamic team providing support to the Point of Care Testing (PoCT) coordinators, laboratory and clinical staff, in NSW Health hospitals across metropolitan and regional NSW.
In this role you will provide administrative support within the team, with interested applicants able to expand their skills in training delivery and technical support, under the supervision of PoCT Coordinators.
The PoCT team has a patient focused approach, with the goal of developing individual team members to form and contribute from their unique interests.

To perform, under supervision, a range of scientific, technical and customer support services for laboratory-based and clinical staff, to deliver a patient-focused service.

Qualifications in a related field of science with subjects relevant to Pathology and/or extensive work related experience.Ability to work independently and within a team setting with the ability to maintain high quality work output while managing competing priorities.Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work and manage competing priorities.Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills combined with the ability to investigate and resolve general issues within the laboratory environment.High level interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate, consult and negotiate with key stakeholders at all levels, preferably in a laboratory environment.Experience and/or understanding of quality assurance and quality control principles.Demonstrated high level of PC skills, including being able to use programs like word processing and spread sheets and/or a laboratory information system.Current unencumbered NSW (Class C) drivers licence and the ability / willingness to work across various locations / sites as required.
