Can you work independently and carry out major repairs on Cranes and accurately diagnose faults?

Liebherr Maritime Cargo and Construction Division has an opportunity for experienced and motivated technicians to be based in our Redcliffe Workshop in Perth and working Offshore when required.These positions involve regular travel to offshore customer sites, with assignments typically lasting up to two weeks at a time.
Due to the demand-driven nature of the business and customer requirements, these roles do not operate on a fixed roster.When not attending offshore assignments, employees work a standard 38-hour week.
Offshore deployments generally consist of 12-hour days over a 14-day period, with overtime rates applicable, providing strong earning potential.As workload and travel requirements can vary based on customer demand, flexibility and a willingness to travel at short notice are essential for success in this role.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide diagnostic, maintenance and component replacement services; including but not limited to:Inspect plant and equipment for conformity with established standardsRequest required spare partsDiagnose faults, repair, maintain and overhaul mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic componentsDiagnose and rectify minor electrical faultsRepair damaged or faulty parts by machining & welding or fabricating new partsLubricate plant and equipmentRunning adjustments to mechanical equipmentActive involvement in the continuous improvement of the Product Support processMaintain effective relationships with customersMaintain a clean and safe work environmentAccurate completion of documentation including timesheets, maintenance requests and any customer/site specific documentation requiredProvide on-the-job training as requiredPersonal (i.e. individual's) health and safety performance and behaviour and that your acts or omissions do not adversely affect the health and safety of othersCompliance with Quality Assurance (QA) and Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) Policy and Procedures.Alerting the organisation of potential or known problems that affect the quality of LAS products and servicesInitiate recommendations for improvement of the organisation's policies and processesOther duties as directedAbout youCertificate III Engineering (Mechanical) Diesel Fitter, Mobile Plant Technology or Automotive Electrical TechnologyAble to work in remote locations and under adverse conditionsLiebherr Crawler Crane & Foundation Equipment or Maritime Cranes experienceHigh Risk Licenses; LF, DG, EWPWorking at Heights certificateCompetitive rates and overtime availableGenerous employee benefits, including 5 days bonus leave days and paid parental leaveCorporate Health Insurance DiscountGenerous discounts for goods & services via our employee benefits programDiversity & InclusionDiversity and inclusion sit at the heart of the Liebherr Group's Core Values.
