Job Summary
Skills Hubs is seeking a driven and experienced Training Coordinator to support the delivery of the Regional, Rural and Remote Home Care Workforce Support Program across Queensland, New South Wales, Western Australia and South Australia.
This role will support candidates into accredited training, work closely with registered training organisations and aged care providers, and help develop practical training pathways that improve enrolment, participation and completion outcomes.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in aged care, vocational education and training, workforce development or an RTO environment who is passionate about strengthening the aged care workforce.

About the Program
The Regional, Rural and Remote Home Care Workforce Support Program supports the development and growth of the home care workforce across Queensland, New South Wales, Western Australia and South Australia.
The program helps new and existing workers access appropriate training, employment pathways and workforce development opportunities, while supporting aged care providers to build a skilled and sustainable workforce.
About the Role
The Training Coordinator will support candidates, aged care providers and RTOs throughout the training journey.
You will help identify suitable accredited training pathways, coordinate candidate referrals and enrolments, monitor progression and completion, and work with training providers to ensure delivery arrangements are practical and appropriate.
You will also work with aged care providers and RTOs to develop industry-specific and bespoke training solutions for new and existing workers.
This may include qualifications, skill sets, individual units, support resources, enrolment processes and customised delivery models.
The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, attention to detail,
initiative and the ability to drive activity against project targets and key performance indicators.
Key Responsibilities
Support candidates to identify and access appropriate accredited training pathways.
Coordinate candidate referrals, enrolments and training commencements with RTOs.
Provide guidance on qualifications, skill sets, units of competency and training options.
Work with RTOs to ensure training pathways are suitable, efficient and aligned with candidate and employer needs.
Monitor candidate participation, progression and completion outcomes.
Identify and help resolve barriers affecting enrolment, participation or completion.
Maintain regular contact with candidates, aged care providers and training organisations.
Work with providers to identify workforce capability gaps and training priorities.
Develop industry-specific and bespoke training solutions for new and existing aged care workers.
Support the development of qualification delivery models, learner support resources and enrolment processes.
Coordinate qualifications, skill sets, non-accredited training and workforce development activities.
Support the formation of regional training cohorts and employer-based training groups.
Maintain accurate candidate, provider and training records.
Track project activity against targets, milestones and KPIs.
Prepare reports on enrolments, commencements, participation, completions and project outcomes.
Identify risks, delays and emerging issues and escalate them where required.
Support the broader workforce development team as needed.
Skills and Experience
Experience in training coordination, workforce development, employment pathways or community-based programs.
A sound understanding of the Australian aged care sector.
Knowledge of accredited training and vocational education and training pathways.
Robust stakeholder engagement and relationship-management skills.
Experience working with RTOs, employers,
candidates or learners.
Strong organisational, planning and time-management skills.
The ability to manage multiple priorities across different locations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience maintaining records, monitoring progress and reporting against KPIs.
The ability to identify barriers and develop practical solutions.
Initiative, sound judgement and the ability to work independently.
Confidence using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM systems and online platforms.
Highly Regarded
Experience working within a registered training organisation.
Strong knowledge of CHC***** Certificate III in Individual Support.
Experience supporting aged care, disability support or home care qualifications.
Knowledge of enrolment, eligibility, learner support and recognition of prior learning processes.
Experience developing customised or employer-based training programs.
Experience working with government-funded workforce or training programs.
Experience supporting regional, rural and remote communities.
A current driver licence and the ability to travel to regional locations across Queensland, New South Wales, Western Australia and South Australia.
