About the Role
The SkyWay Joint Venture (BMD & CPB Contractors) is delivering the Perth New Runway Project, a major infrastructure initiative involving construction of a new 3,000m runway and associated taxiway infrastructure.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-profile aviation project within a collaborative joint venture environment.
As Project Quality Manager, you'll lead the implementation of quality systems and compliance across the project.
Reporting to the Regional Quality & Systems Manager, you'll drive continuous improvement, manage non-conformances, and foster a culture of quality and accountability.
You'll work closely with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure delivery meets BMD, client, and ISO **** standards.
Key responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and empower project quality teams for successful outcomes
Develop and maintain project Quality Management Plans and audit schedules
Identify, document, and resolve non-conformances with corrective actions
Drive continuous improvement and risk mitigation initiatives
Engage with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to optimise project performance
Prepare clear, accurate reports for clients and senior management
Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and ISO standards
About you
You'll bring a collaborative mindset, technical expertise, and a passion for quality.
You'll have a strong background in quality management within the construction industry, with the ability to lead teams and manage multiple objectives in a dynamic environment.
What you'll bring:
Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical engineering, or related discipline
5+ years' experience as a Quality Manager on major construction projects, including the implementation and management of project quality systems.
Quality Lead Auditor (ISO ****; ISO *********** desirable)
Strong understanding of ISO **** and compliance requirements in WA
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and manage risk
