Adelaide Dust and Fume Pty Ltd are seeking a dedicated
Service Technician
to join our growing team.
This is a full-time position based in
Smithfield SA ****
, where you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our valued clients across South Australia.
As a Service Technician, you will be on the road, servicing, maintaining and carrying out minor repairs and reports on dust and fume extraction equipment such as dust collectors, fume cupboards, spray booths and more.
Key responsibilities
Maintain, service and write reports on dust and fume extraction systems at client locations
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical faults in equipment and systems
Perform preventative maintenance on installed systems to ensure optimal performance
Respond promptly to service calls and emergency requests from clients
Maintain accurate documentation and records of all service visits and work completed
Liaise with clients to explain technical issues and solutions in a clear and skilled manner
Travel between job sites within South Australia
What we're looking for
Trade qualifications or relevant technical certifications
Experience as a field service technician or in a similar hands-on technical role




Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently
Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with clients
Valid driver's licence and reliability to travel between multiple job sites
Physical fitness and ability to work at heights where required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and organisational skills to maintain accurate records
Flexibility to respond to urgent service requests and changing priorities
