About the Role
We're currently recruiting a Part time OOSH Assistant Educator for our Queanbeyan South OOSH who thrives in an inclusive and collaborative environment.
In this role, you will:
• Create engaging, play-based learning experiences for primary school-aged children
• Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive setting
• Support children's development through meaningful interactions and activities
• Work as part of a supportive and passionate team
What You'll Bring
· A genuine passion for working with children and families.
· Energy, enthusiasm, and a positive, team-focused attitude.
Creativity and initiative in delivering engaging, inclusive experiences.
Experience working or volunteering with children.
A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
A strong commitment to child safety and wellbeing.
Knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law, National Regulations, National Quality Framework (NQF), and
My Time, Our Place
(desirable).
What We're Looking For
Availability to work split shifts:
7:00am – 9:00am
2:30pm – 6:00pm
Essential Requirements
Basic Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
Current First Aid and CPR certification,



or willingness to obtain.
Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification, or willingness to obtain.
Geccko Foundations of Child Safety Training course 1 & 2 and The Advanced child safety Training courses 3 & 4, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
ACT Government Keeping Children and Young People Safe training, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance (NSW), or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
