We're looking for a smart, switched-on technical insurance candidate to join this rapidly growing global insurance business.The ideal candidate for this role could be someone with an actuarial background or experience in the insurance sector in technical accounting role.This role will be the point of contact between the Actuary and Finance teams and will be focused on the implementation and delivery of insurance technical reporting under IFRS17.Reporting to the Head of Financial Performance and Analysis,



this role will:Assist implementation of IFRS17 in relation to actuarial calculationsSupport insurance technical reporting for forecast and planning activitiesSupport reporting to external stakeholders such as APRASupport finance and actuarial reporting for internal managementLead actuarial calculations in financeBe the point of contact for actuarial matters in relation to accounting, capital and investment, management reporting and regulatory reportingThe ideal candidate will have the following:Qualified Actuary4-5+ years of related work experience within an insurance business or consultingProven experience within Insurance, IFRS17 and APRA reportingGood interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with various stakeholders and explain technical terminologyThis is a great chance to join a growing global organisation and work directly with the CFO and business leaders.
