This role involves offering legal support to all teams and ensuring our company remains compliant as a licensed financial services provider.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide legal advice for company's operations, including the review,
preparation and amendment of relevant legal documentationContract Management: Review and manage contracts with third parties to ensure compliance and mitigate risksMonitor contract execution to ensure adherence to terms and conditionsAnalyze changes in financial regulations and corporate laws, advising management on their potential impact on the company's operationsWork closely with the Chief Compliance Officer to address regulatory inquiries and ensure timely submission of regulatory reportsProvide legal support for licensing applications, renewals, and other interactions with financial regulatory bodiesAct as the key point of contact for legal matters across departments, including Sales, Marketing, Back Office, and Human ResourcesLiaise with external legal counsel, regulators, and other stakeholders to obtain and provide information relevant to the company's operationsRequirementsA Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field is required, with an advanced degree being a plusA solid background in financial services or legal practice is crucialExpertise in Corporations law and financial regulations is a mustBilingual proficiency in English and Chinese is highly desirableExceptional communication, drafting, and report-writing abilities are essentialStrong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams are importantMust be organized, attentive to details, and capable of juggling multiple prioritiesBenefitsCompetitive salary and performance-based bonusesOpportunities for career growth and development within a global companyCollaborative and inclusive work setting with exposure to cross-region operationsHealth and wellness benefitsFlexible working arrangements
