About The Role
Townsville City Council are seeking a experienced Coordinator Regulation to lead the Environmental Health and Regulation (EH&R;) team.
This role is pivotal in implementing a holistic program of change across the Community Environment and Lifestyle Division, focusing on customer-centric service delivery and community engagement.
You will provide expert advice on policy matters, legislation, applications, prosecution cases, and PIN reviews.
Additionally, you will contribute to developing and reviewing policies, work practices, and procedures to ensure compliance with legislative requirements while meeting community needs.
This is a permanent full time opportunity offering a nine-day fortnight, competitive salary, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on the Townsville community.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will hold a relevant tertiary qualification in an investigatory, regulatory, business, emergency management, or similar discipline.
You will demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare complex reports, policies, and strategies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving,



and investigative skills are essential, along with the capability to formulate, implement, and monitor new operational strategies.
