Your work will include:Running drill & blast design, QA and performance reviewsWorking closely with site engineers, production teams and clientsLiaise with the client directly to ensure business needs are understood and metSupporting juniors with mentorship and coachingAssisting with troubleshooting, data analysis and continuous improvementBeing based on site, providing technical in time support to our crew on the ground and managing head office stakeholdersWhat You'll NeedMust-haves:Right to work in Australia without restrictionsExperience in Drill & BlastProven experience leading or mentoring othersAble to obtain a Queensland Explosives Security Clearance or hold oneAbility to translate complex technical information into easy, actionable insightsHigh level of interpersonal skill, with the ability to build rapport quickly and maintain positive internal and external stakeholder relationshipsResilience, agility, versatility and willingness to work in a dynamic operational environmentAble to travel to site and work on an 8:6 rosterNice to have:Degree in Mining Engineering (not essential)Mining operational experience on the bench (e.g., Blast Crew, Shotfirer)Experience using mine planning or blasting softwarePrevious exposure to drill & blast design, QA, or analysis22 July ****Brisbane Queensland, Australia
