About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our amazing team at Orthodontics Wagga Wagga.
This is a full time role based in our practice in Wagga Wagga, NSW.
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Specialist Orthodontists and Oral Health Therapist.
What You'll Be Doing
Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments prior to patient appointments
Assisting Orthodontist and Oral Health Therapist with procedures by passing instruments, holding suction devices, and providing other support
Educating patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Managing patient records and scheduling appointments
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
Adhering to all health, safety, and infection control protocols
What We're Looking For
No dental experience necessary.
Comprehensive training on the job
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sterilisation
Willing to complete Certificate III and IV in dental assisting
Enthusiasm for providing exceptional patient care
Team player
