The Opportunity
Lead a high-performing aquatic education and coaching team and help shape the next generation of swimmers in the Noosa community.
In this rewarding leadership role, you'll oversee Learn to Swim, Swim Squad and aquatic education programs, driving participation, customer experience and program excellence while contributing to the health and wellbeing of the community.

Position Remuneration - Aquatics Grade 7
$85,111 base annual salary
$96,607 Total Remuneration Package which is based on a full-time employee and inclusive of 12% Employer superannuation and 17.5% annual leave loading.

About You
You're an experienced aquatic professional with a passion for water safety, swimming education, coaching and developing people.
You bring strong leadership skills, commercial awareness and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
With experience managing swim programs and leading teams, you thrive in a dynamic environment where you can make a positive impact on participants, families and staff.
Responsibilities
• Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of Learn to Swim, Swim Squad and aquatic education programs
• Recruit, coach, mentor and support aquatic program staff to build a capable and engaged team
• Monitor program performance, participation,
customer feedback and financial outcomes to drive service improvements
• Build strong relationships with clubs, schools, customers and community stakeholders while promoting aquatic programs
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
• Experience leading Learn to Swim, Squad and aquatic education programs within a commercial aquatic or recreation setting
• Demonstrated ability to supervise, develop and manage aquatic program staff
• Strong knowledge of aquatic education, coaching, water safety, industry standards and workplace health and safety requirements
Qualifications, Training and Licences
Essential
• First Aid Certificate and CPR Certification
• AUSTSWIM Registration or equivalent and a third recognised swim instructing qualification.
• Current Blue Card
Desirable
• Swim Coaching Accreditation
• Current Driver Licence - C Class
• Level 1 Swim Coach Certificate and Additional R.L.S.S. qualifications would be highly regarded.
• Cert 4 Training and Assessment qualification
