About the role
The Duty Manager is a pivotal role at The Colley Hotel, a dynamic multi-faceted hospitality venue located in the heart of Glenelg, SA.
The Duty Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth daily operations of the hotel, with a focus on exceptional customer service and efficient management of the team.
What you'll be doing
Overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, including food and beverage services
Managing and inspiring a team of front-line hospitality staff to deliver outstanding guest experiences
Handling guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
Monitoring inventory and making necessary orders to ensure adequate supplies
Liaising with other department heads to coordinate hotel activities and events
Assisting with the implementation of new policies and procedures to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar Duty Manager or Assistant Manager role within the hospitality industry
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests and staff at all levels




Proficient in using hotel management software and point-of-sale systems, H&L; system
Thorough understanding of hotel operations, including high-quality customer service, food and beverage
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions to resolve issues
A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
