Working alongside internal teams, external vendors and key stakeholders, you will provide architectural guidance while taking a hands-on role in platform administration, configuration, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.Key responsibilitiesProvide strategic advice on ServiceNow architecture and platform directionLead the administration and ongoing development of the platformTroubleshoot and resolve platform incidents and technical issuesDeliver minor enhancements and configuration changesReview technical designs and help prevent technical debtAdvise on licensing, patching and platform upgrade strategiesSupport platform security, hardening and development best practicesManage platform onboarding and access for external vendorsMonitor vendor development quality and complianceProduce technical, design and security documentationCollaborate with product owners, business analysts, developers,



architects and testersMentor and upskill internal team membersCommunicate technical matters clearly to executives and non-technical stakeholdersEssential requirementsAt least five years' experience administering ServiceNow platformsExperience or strong knowledge of the ServiceNow Protected PlatformStrong knowledge of ServiceNow concepts and tools, including:Knowledge ManagementFlow DesignerService BridgeScriptingNotificationsStrong understanding of IT Service Management principlesDemonstrated troubleshooting and incident-resolution experienceAbility to provide informed technical advice for executive decision-making and strategic planningStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skillsAbility to work effectively with internal teams and external vendorsHighly desirableServiceNow experience within an Australian Government environmentExperience with Strategic Portfolio ManagementExperience with HR Service DeliveryExperience with Workplace Health and Safety modulesStrong knowledge of ICT development and security best practicesExperience working in fast-paced Agile environmentsExperience working with geographically dispersed teamsAwareness of accessibility requirements and current WCAG standardsThe role is based in Canberra and supports versatile hybrid working arrangements.
