We are looking for a motivated and reliable
Pavilion Installer
to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, is physically capable, takes pride in their work and enjoys seeing a project come together from start to finish.
Our pavilion installations range from smaller private events through to large weddings, corporate functions, festivals and major events.
You will be involved in transporting, installing and dismantling temporary pavilion structures and associated event equipment.
With the event season approaching, there is plenty of opportunity for consistent hours for the right person, with the potential for the position to develop into a permanent working arrangement.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:

Valuable physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual work
Ability to lift, carry and move heavy equipment
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to follow plans, measurements and installation instructions

Reliability and punctuality
Professional presentation and attitude
Honest and trustworthy
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Current Australian driver's licence
The role will include:
Loading and unloading pavilion and event equipment
Transporting equipment to event sites
Setting up and dismantling temporary pavilions and structures
Installing pavilion frames, roofs,



walls and associated components
Securing structures using appropriate anchoring and ballast systems
Measuring and positioning structures accurately
Installing flooring, lighting and other associated event equipment
Working from installation plans and specific site instructions
Preparing event sites for installation
Liaising professionally with customers, venues and event coordinators
Completing pre-installation and post-event site checks
Packing, cleaning and maintaining pavilion equipment
Identifying damaged or faulty equipment
Carrying out basic equipment repairs and maintenance
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment
Working safely and following company procedures at all times
Experience
Previous experience in
pavilion, marquee, event setup, construction, landscaping, trades, labouring or similar physical work
will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
We are more interested in finding someone with the
right attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn
.
Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
This is a hands-on role and would suit someone who enjoys working outdoors, working with a team and isn't afraid of physical work.
