The Position
This position will provide robust financial management leadership to ensure the effective delivery of financial management services and practices across the organisation.
Tasks and responsibilities
Lead and manage the Financial team including: performance management, training and development, workflow coordination, workforce planning and developing a high level of morale and harmony.
Lead a high performing team that is customer focussed, delivers services to agreed levels and works proactively with leaders to improve financial management processes and capabilities across the organisation.
Lead the development and implementation of AlburyCity's overall direction with regard to financial management.
Promote and encourage improvement initiatives to drive corporate performance.
Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders and act as a trusted finance business partner.
Proactively identify financial management risks and liaise with key stakeholders on improvement initiatives.
Promote sound financial management practices across the organisation.
Qualifications and experience
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or related discipline or equivalent relevant experience
CA/CPA qualification or equivalent
Experience in the management of financial services in a multidisciplinary organisation
Demonstrated experience in leading a team
Hours
Based on a 35-hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines.
