Our team is hands-on, practical, and values-driven – and we're now looking for someone to help us stay on top of the admin that keeps things running.
Full Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable & Receivable Officer to join our team on a part-time basis (3-4 days per week) to provide maternity leave cover for approximately 9–12 months.
This role is ideal for an organised and proactive finance professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering accurate and timely financial administration.
About the Role
Reporting to the CEO you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring suppliers are paid on time, customer accounts are maintained accurately, and financial records are up to date.
Your responsibilities will include:
Processing supplier invoices and payments.
Raising and issuing customer invoices.
Managing debtor collections and customer account enquiries.
Reconciling supplier statements and customer accounts.
Processing and allocating customer payments.
Performing bank reconciliations.
Assisting with month-end financial processes.
Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
Liaising with suppliers,



customers and internal stakeholders.
Providing general administrative support to the Finance team.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Previous experience in an Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable position.
Demonstrated experience using Xero accounting software, including processing invoices, allocating payments, reconciliations and maintaining creditor and debtor accounts.
A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting and filtering data, reconciliations and working with financial spreadsheets.
Excellent attention to detail with a solid focus on accuracy.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a supportive team environment.
