Job Overview:Malaysian-based EPCC company specializing in EHV solutions, is seeking skilled and experienced High Voltage Power Transmission Line Workers specializing in stringing works to join our team.
The ideal candidate must have extensive experience working on high-voltage transmission lines, particularly familiar with all stringing activities on 330kV and above.Job Overview:Malaysian-based EPCC company specializing in EHV solutions, is seeking skilled and experienced High Voltage Power Transmission Line Workers specializing in stringing works to join our team.
The ideal candidate must have extensive experience working on high-voltage transmission lines, particularly familiar with all stringing activities on 330kV and above.Key Responsibilities:Able to perform preparation works, paying out, jointing, clipping, tensioning, sagging, clamping, spacering, and jumpering for high-voltage transmission lines in compliance with safety and quality standardsAble to operate and maintain stringing equipment, such as tensioners, pullers, and winchesEnsure proper installation of insulator string fittings, conductors, OPGW, and earth wires as per project requirementsWork at heights on lattice towers and monopolesAdhere to safety regulations, work procedures, and risk assessments to ensure a secure working environmentFamiliar with all safety devices like full-body harness, double lanyard, fall protection system, lifelines, discharge wires,



and discharge rodsCoordinate with site supervisors and engineers to execute work as per project timelinesTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to stringing operationsQualifications & Experience:Minimum 5-6 years of hands-on experience in high-voltage transmission line stringing worksExperience in 330kV and above is preferableFluency in EnglishFamiliarity with stringing techniques, tensioning methods, and safety proceduresAbility to work at heights and in challenging environmentsKnowledge of electrical safety standards and best practices in transmission line constructionPhysical fitness and ability to work in outdoor conditionsWorking at Height certification is mandatoryCertification in rigging, lifting, or power transmission is an advantageHaving relevant City & Guild or any equivalent certification is extremely desirableAdditional Requirements:Willingness to travel and work in remote project locationsStrong teamwork and communication skillsWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
