As our hotels continue to evolve, we're excited to be creating a brand-new People & Culture Coordinator role to support our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an energetic and collaborative People & Culture team and gain hands on experience across two Sydney CBD.

Reporting to the Portfolio Director of People & Culture, you'll be involved in all aspects of the employee experience, from welcoming new team members to assisting in coordinating events, driving engagement initiatives, and helping create a workplace where people genuinely feel valuedand supported.

/n

Whether you're currently studying Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or you're at the beginning of your HR career, this role offers exposure to a wide range of People & Culture activities that will fast track your development and set you up for future career opportunities.

/n

No two days will be the same, and you'll be encouraged to bring your ideas, creativity, and passion for people to help shape our team culture.

/n

The Day-to-Day:

/n

Working alongside the People & Culture team, you'll:

/n

/n

- Support all stages of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboardingthrough to employee movements and offboarding

/n

- Welcome current team members and help create memorable onboarding experiences

/n

- Coordinate team engagement activities, recognition programs, celebrations, and wellbeing initiatives

/n

- Assist with the organisation of training programs and learning & development activities

/n





- Build positive relationships with employees and leaders across both hotels

/n

- Maintain employee records, HR systems, reporting, and People & Culture documentation

/n

- Assist with drafting communications, announcements, and engaging content for our teams

/n

- Support compliance activities and ensure employee records remain accurate and up to date

/n

- Contribute ideas that help improve the employee experience and strengthen our culture

/n

- Help champion Accor's values and create an environment where everyone feels welcome and feels valued

/n/n

The Right Person

/n

We're looking for someone who loves working with people, enjoys being organised, and is excited to start or continue their HR journey.

/n

You will bring:

- A positive attitude and genuine passion for people and culture

- Solid communication skills and confidence building relationships with a diverse team

/n

- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail

/n

- The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to learn

- A professional approach and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion

- Strong administrative and computer skills, including Microsoft Office

/n

- Currently studying or recently completed qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Hospitality, or a related discipline (highly regarded)

/n

- Previous customer service, hospitality, retail, administration, or HR experience will be highly regarded

/n/n
