You'll be joining a flourishing transport & logistics organisation, offering customised freight forwarding, warehousing, and supply chain solutions across Australia and internationally.

As part of their growing team, we are seeking a skilled and commercially minded Management Accountant to join the finance function. This permanent full time position is based in a well-established industrial suburb of Perth. Your expertise will help steer financial discipline, operational performance, and strategic decision-making across business units.

Key Responsibilities:

/n

/n

- Prepare accurate and timely management accounts, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports across multiple business units.

/n

- Conduct variance analysis, build financial models, and provide clear, actionable insights to support business decisions.

/n

- Maintain the general ledger, oversee accounts payable and receivable, process expense claims, and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.

/n

- Partner with operational teams to support effective budgeting, forecasting, and cost control across the organisation.

/n

- Assist with tax reporting (e.g. BAS, PAYG, FBT, payroll tax) and provide documentation and support during internal and external audits.

/n





- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and reporting systems, including enhancing ERP usage (e.g. Xero, Dynamics BC, MEX).

/n

- Deliver financial insights and support for cross-functional initiatives and business cases as required.

Qualifications:

/n

/n

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field

/n

- Professional accounting accreditation (CPA, CA or equivalent) preferred

/n

- Minimum 5 years' experience in management accounting roles, ideally within transport, logistics or freight forwarding sectors

/n

- Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, Xero, MEX); Power BI experience is advantageous

/n

- Exceptional analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills

/n

- Highly structured, proactive, detail-oriented and able to work effectively under pressure

/n/n
