The Opportunity
/n
We are seeking a Drillers Offsider/Assistant to join our close‐knit team. This physically demanding role supports the Driller with day-to-day drilling operations and requires someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work in remote locations for up to two weeks at a time.
/n
This is a locally based role (not FIFO) with a mix of local and away work—typically a 2 weeks on / 1 week off roster when working remotely.
/n

What You Will Be Doing
/n
/n
- Assisting the Driller with all daily drilling operations
/n
- Performing daily maintenance and pre-start checks
/n
- Cleaning, servicing, and maintaining drilling equipment
/n
- Helping maintain compliance and operational records
/n
- Supporting workshop fabrication and repairs
/n
- Completing all tasks as directed by the Driller or senior offsider
/n/n

- Ability to operate machinery and use initiative

- Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail

- Physically fit and able to perform labour-intensive tasks

- Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol testing
/n
- Ability to obtain a current National Police Clearance
/n
- Successful completion of a pre-employment medical and fitness assessment
/n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
/n
- Motivated, reliable, and eager to learn
/n
- Must be an Australian citizen
/n
- HR or higher class Queensland truck licence preferred
/n/n
