With a focus on quality, customer experience, and continuous improvement, the business is seeking an experienced WHS professional to take ownership of safety across its operations and support the ongoing development of its safety culture and systems.

About the WHS Manager Role
Reporting into a broader safety function while partnering closely with senior operational leadership, this role will lead all day-to-day WHS activities across the business.
This is a highly visible, hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys being present in the field, building relationships with operational teams, and providing practical safety support. This role will involve visiting active construction sites, reporting, investigations, audits, and safety system management.
As the dedicated WHS resource for the business unit, you will play a key role in supporting operational leaders, driving compliance, managing incidents, and ensuring safety standards remain consistent across all projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide practical WHS support across active residential construction projects
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk reviews
- Lead incident investigations and corrective action management
- Support hazard identification, risk assessments, and safe work practices
- Deliver WHS reporting and performance updates to leadership teams




- Coordinate emergency preparedness, first aid, and workplace safety programs
- Support contractor management and site compliance activities
- Assist with the development and continuous improvement of safety documentation and operational procedures
- Partner with operational leaders to drive safety engagement and accountability across the business

Candidate Requirements

- Previous experience in a WHS Advisor or WHS Manager position within construction or a related industry
- Strong understanding of construction safety risks and site-based operations
- Ability to work autonomously and build credibility with frontline teams and leaders
- Experience conducting incident investigations, audits, and risk assessments
- Practical and solutions-focused approach to safety management
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- CertIV in WHS, or other relevant WHS qualifications
