We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of multiple high-profile digital initiatives within a large and complex enterprise environment. This is an opportunity to drive business-critical projects, manage diverse stakeholder groups, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful outcomes.

You'll take ownership of projects at varying stages of delivery, ensuring strong governance, effective stakeholder engagement, and seamless coordination across internal teams and external vendors.

This role is to be based in Hobart, Tasmania.
We are looking for people who are already living in Tasmania initially for this role.

Initial 6-month daily rate contract.

Key Responsibilities

- End-to-end delivery of multiple digital projects from planning through to production.
- Manage project governance, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and reporting.
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams including Business Analysts, Developers, Testers, Support Teams, and external vendors.
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication around priorities, risks, dependencies, and change impacts.
- Oversee software delivery activities including requirements, design, build, testing, release, business readiness, training, and transition to support.
- Ensure solutions are successfully embedded into existing IT support and operational frameworks.

About You





You'll be an experienced Project Manager with a proven ability to deliver complex digital initiatives while managing competing priorities and a broad range of stakeholders.

You'll bring:

- Demonstrated experience delivering multiple digital or technology projects concurrently.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams.
- Experience managing external vendors and third-party delivery partners.
- Strong commercial awareness, governance, and project documentation skills.
- Experience managing software development lifecycles across waterfall environments with exposure to Agile delivery practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders with varying levels of technical knowledge and change readiness.

Highly Regarded

- Experience delivering projects within the utilities or critical infrastructure sector.
- Knowledge or certification in change management methodologies such as PROSCI.
- Experience delivering enterprise applications, cloud platforms, or digital transformation initiatives.
