About Us

Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.

Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the ‘Courts Group'.

Our people enable the Courts Group to deliver on each jurisdiction's own strategic priorities while also pursuing strategic opportunities that are interconnected and deliver benefits more broadly.

The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The MCV determines in excess of 200,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, dealing with over 90 percent of all adult cases that come before Victorian courts each year.

MCV aims to be an innovative, accessible and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.

About the Role

The Magistrates' Court of Victoria is seeking a strategic and influential leader to join the Court Practice and Strategy division as General Manager, Court Services Quality & Standards.

This senior leadership role is responsible for driving the quality, consistency and continuous improvement of specialist court programs and services across Victoria. Working closely with Judicial Officers, Court Operations and key justice and community stakeholders, you will ensure service delivery frameworks, standards and practices reflect best practice and support positive outcomes for court users.

You will provide leadership across a diverse portfolio of programs supporting Drug Court, ARC,



Koori Court and Specialist Family Violence Courts, while overseeing statewide program integrity, assurance and performance.

As General Manager, you will:

- Lead the development and implementation of statewide program standards, frameworks and quality assurance processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service quality, consistency and client outcomes.
- Ensure risk and needs assessment tools, MARAM and information sharing frameworks remain current and are effectively applied.
- Provide strategic leadership and expert advice on therapeutic justice, behaviour change and criminogenic risk factors.
- Build strong partnerships with the judiciary, court operations, government departments and community service organisations.
- Influence and support the adoption of best practice approaches across specialist court programs.
- Monitor program effectiveness and use data, insights and evaluation to drive service improvements.
- Lead, coach and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

About You

You are an experienced and collaborative leader with:

- Extensive experience leading large, multidisciplinary teams.
- Significant experience within health, disability, community services or social welfare sectors.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and relationship management skills.
- Expertise in program governance, quality assurance, service standards and continuous improvement.




- A proven ability to lead complex change initiatives and drive organisational outcomes.
