Grafton Base Hospital & Health Service is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Renal Ward on a contract basis, starting 14 September 2026 for a minimum of six weeks. This is an chance to deliver specialised renal care in a supportive clinical environment. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of AUD$45.00 to AUD$60.00, depending on experience and qualifications.

- Specialised renal nursing in a dedicated ward setting
- AUD$45.00 to AUD$60.00 per hour, contract position from 14 September
- Work with established renal dialysis equipment and protocols in a structured team

Preferred Requirements

- Current Registered Nurse (RN) registration with AHPRA




- Demonstrated experience operating and troubleshooting the Fresenius 5008 dialysis unit
- Sound knowledge of renal patient care, including vascular access management and fluid balance monitoring
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary renal team
- Strong clinical communication and documentation skills in a fast-paced ward environment

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration
- Post-graduate qualification or formal training in renal nursing
- Certification in Advanced Life Support (ALS) or equivalent
