About the role

This Graduate Sonographer position offers an exceptional opportunity to begin your career within one of Queensland's largest and most advanced medical imaging services. Based across the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH) and Surgical, Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (STARS), you will provide routine general and women's ultrasound examinations while working alongside experienced sonographers, radiologists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

- Perform all approved ultrasound examinations with compassion, respect and integrity.
- Deliver a routine ultrasound imaging service under regular supervision from HP4 Senior/HP5 Advanced Sonographer and/or Radiologists.
- Engage in education, training, and professional development to progress to full scope and more complex examinations with supervision
- As experience builds, apply increasingly independent clinical judgement and decision making under the professional guidance of a more senior clinician
- Provides a patient focused imaging service that is professional and timely
