We're seeking an experienced Registered Land Surveyor to join a growing Canberra surveying consultancy with a strong pipeline of projects across the ACT and surrounding regions.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity for a Registered Surveyor looking for variety, responsibility and long-term career progression within a business that values technical expertise, quality work and its people.

About the Role

As a Registered Land Surveyor, you'll play a senior role within the surveying team, managing cadastral and land development projects while working closely with clients, developers, engineers, builders and relevant authorities.

You'll have the autonomy to manage projects from initial survey through to completion, provide technical guidance to the wider team and contribute directly to the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Undertake and manage cadastral and boundary surveys
- Prepare, review and certify survey plans and associated documentation
- Complete boundary identification, subdivision and land development surveys
- Review survey calculations, plans and field data
- Manage surveying projects from initial client brief through to completion
- Ensure cadastral work complies with relevant legislation, regulations and professional standards
- Liaise with clients, developers, engineers, architects and relevant authorities
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to surveyors and field staff
- Maintain high standards of accuracy,



quality and professional compliance
- Assist with project planning, scheduling and client management

Skills & Experience

Essential

- Registered Land Surveyor, or registration eligible/transferable for practice in the ACT
- Strong cadastral and boundary surveying experience
- Sound knowledge of relevant surveying legislation, regulations and standards
- Ability to independently manage surveying projects
- Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing capabilities
- Current Australian Driver's Licence

Highly Regarded

- Previous surveying experience within the ACT or surrounding regions
- Subdivision and land development experience
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior surveyors
- Strong relationships within the property, development, engineering or construction sectors
