About the Team
External Engagement and Partnerships focuses on strengthening relationships across industry, government and the community, supporting collaboration and engagement across faculties and central units. The Partnership Delivery function is focused on ensuring consistently excellent partnership outcomes and experiences by providing targeted operational and account management support through the partnership execution phase.
Job Purpose
This role leads the coordination and development of bids and proposals for complex and high-value external partnership opportunities. It manages the full lifecycle of major tenders and proposals and contributes to improving bid/proposal development capability across the university.
Detailed Description
Role Responsibilities
Identify and track tender and funding opportunities aligned with partnership goals.
Manage end to end bid development including planning, drafting, review and submission.
Coordinate input from internal and external stakeholders to develop compliant proposals.
Support development of proposal costings and approval processes.
Promote best practice in bid coordination, tools and quality assurance.
Facilitate post bid reviews and continuous improvement activities.
Develop resources, templates and workshops to strengthen proposal capability.
Skills, Attributes and Knowledge
Ability to coordinate complex bids and manage timelines and stakeholder input.
Strong understanding of funding schemes and tender requirements.
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills.
High level written and verbal communication skills.
Project management and coordination capability across multiple priorities.
Knowledge of university structures, funding landscape and costing approaches.
Experience
Experience coordinating complex bids or proposals in a similar workplace.
Experience engaging and influencing diverse stakeholders.
Experience managing concurrent projects and meeting deadlines.
Experience working with funding or tendering processes and requirements.
Qualifications
Postgraduate qualification with relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Remuneration/Salary
What We Offer
Base Salary Range: $122,640.00 - $139,674.00 (HEW 8) plus 17% superannuation (pension)
The position is full time and will be made on a continuing basis.
