We're partnering with a highly regarded, purpose-driven migration law firm that is experiencing significant growth and is looking for an experienced Senior Migration Lawyer / Senior Consultant to join its Sydney team.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a senior migration professional who enjoys working directly with sophisticated corporate and individual clients, wants genuine career progression, and is looking to be part of a collaborative, high-performing team.
The role
You'll manage your own portfolio of corporate clients, providing strategic immigration advice across a broad range of complex matters. Working with minimal supervision, you'll become a trusted adviser to clients while contributing to the firm's continued growth.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising on complex Australian migration matters, including skilled, employer-sponsored and investment visas.
- Managing matters from initial instruction through to successful outcome.
- Developing tailored immigration strategies for corporate and individual clients.
- Preparing high-quality applications, submissions and advocacy to the Department of Home Affairs.
- Building long-term client relationships and delivering exceptional service.
- Supporting business development initiatives, networking and thought leadership.
- Mentoring junior team members and contributing to a collaborative team culture.
About you
You will be an experienced migration professional who enjoys combining technical excellence with commercial advice.
- Minimum 5 years PQE
- Experience working with corporate clients
- Current OMARA registration (or relevant legal qualifications).
- Extensive experience managing Australian migration matters autonomously.
- Strong technical knowledge of employer-sponsored, skilled and investment visa pathways.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial acumen and a client-focused approach.
- A genuine interest in mentoring others and contributing to a growing business.
