Port Lincoln Health and Hospital Service is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department team on a short-term contract basis. This three-week placement runs from 28 August to 18 September 2026 and covers ED, ALS, and triage responsibilities. Based in Port Lincoln, South Australia, the role offers a competitive remuneration package of AUD69.42 to AUD92.71 per hour, providing an excellent opportunity to contribute to acute care delivery in a regional healthcare setting.

Preferred Requirements

- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification




- Demonstrated experience in emergency department nursing, including triage assessment
- Competence with high-acuity patient presentations and rapid clinical decision-making
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated experience in Emergency Nursing
- Additional certifications in trauma or acute care nursing are advantageous
