About the Opportunity

Join our Community Allied Health team as a Senior Social Worker and provide high-quality, evidence-informed social work services to clients and their families across the Central Coast. Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you will provide clinical leadership, support the development of staff and contribute to the delivery and enhancement of community-based Social Work services.

In this role you will:

- Provide comprehensive social work assessment, counselling, case planning, advocacy and referral services to clients and their carers in community settings.
- Provide clinical leadership, supervision and professional support to Social Workers, including Level 1/2 staff and students.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, community agencies and health services to coordinate effective, client-centred care and support access to appropriate services.
- Contribute to service development, evaluation, quality improvement, research and evidence-based practice to strengthen the delivery of community Social Work services.
- Support effective caseload and service management, responding to changing client needs, staffing requirements and referral demands across community sites.

About You

You are a compassionate Social Worker with extensive experience who brings strong clinical expertise, leadership capability and a commitment to delivering person-centred care in the community. You will thrive in a collaborative environment,



confidently manage complex situations and support the development of colleagues while contributing to the ongoing improvement of Social Work services.

We are looking for someone who has:

- Extensive clinical Social Work experience across a diverse range of health conditions and presentations, particularly within a community setting.
- Demonstrated experience providing clinical and professional supervision to Social Workers and students, with the ability to support staff development and performance.
- Highly developed assessment, intervention, counselling, group work, advocacy and case management skills, with the ability to manage complex and competing demands.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and advocacy skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, families, multidisciplinary teams and community agencies.
- Demonstrated leadership and service management skills, with a commitment to evidence-based practice, quality improvement, service development and contemporary Social Work practice.
