Digital Delivery Lead

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Digital Delivery Lead to join our Digital team in Melbourne.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

- Bring clarity and certainty to a busy, complex digital project portfolio - turning ambiguity into clear plans, owners, timelines and next steps the whole team can get behind.
- Own the end-to-end delivery of our digital projects, driving momentum and outcomes from kick-off through to go-live and benefits realisation.
- Be the delivery engine at the heart of the Digital team - the go-to person who keeps our digital projects moving, connected and on track.
- Help the team manage competing workloads - sequencing priorities, balancing capacity and clearing roadblocks so our developers, analysts and technical SMEs can do their best work, across both Project and BAU resposibilities.
- Partner closely with the PMO on change management activities, making sure our solutions land smoothly and our people are ready, willing and able to adopt them.
- Report progress, risks and blockers up to the PMO with clarity and confidence - no surprises, just a clear line of sight from idea to impact.
- Bring a growth mindset, challenge legacy ways of working and champion smarter, simpler and continuously improving ways of delivering.
- Engage and influence stakeholders across the firm to shape scope, manage expectations and keep everyone pulling in the same direction.
- Keep projects healthy and honest - actively tracking timelines, budgets, dependencies, risks and quality, and stepping in early when something needs a course correction.
- Document and publish delivery artefacts - plans, status updates, decisions and lessons learned - to build transparency and a well-run project environment.
- Liaise with vendors and internal teams to line up the right people, tools and support at the right time.
- Maintain strong information security awareness and follow firm protocols to reduce risk. Stay informed about potential threats, apply best practices, and take proactive steps to protect the firm's systems, data and client information.

Skills/Knowledge & Experience
- Proven project delivery or project management experience, ideally within a technology,

digital or transformation workplace.
- A track record of driving projects to successful outcomes - on time, on scope and on value.
- Strong working knowledge of project and change delivery methods (eg Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2 or a blend) and the judgement to know when to use which.
- Excellent planning, prioritisation and workload management skills, with the ability to keep several projects moving at once.
- Confident stakeholder engagement and the ability to bring people along on the journey.
- Strong comprehension, critical thinking and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Comfort working with data and reporting to tell a clear delivery story (eg PowerBI, dashboards or status reporting).
- Experience partnering with a PMO on governance, reporting and change management activities is highly desirable.
- Exposure to a legal or qualified services environment is desirable.
