What You Will Be Doing
Our client is currently seeking a Onroad Supervisor based in Banyo to conduct safe and efficient allocations of resources. The successful applicant will be required to work Monday-Friday, 8am- 5pm plus overtime as required. Your duties will include:
- To supervise the coordination of Transport vehicles, equipment and labour within the division to ensure the efficient, cost-effective and profitable completion of jobs in accordance with safety and environmental standards, customer expectations and performance targets. Managing in consultation with Dispatch route performance
- Provide and encourage effective communication throughout the business unit and Operations team
- To liaise with customers and coordinate resolution of issues arising in a timely and effective manner
- To promote and continuously apply personal safety, environmental and quality awareness in the workplace
- Ensure that all drivers perform their duties in a safe, competent and responsible manner and without risk to health,
quality or to the environment.
- Assist in the development, implementation and/or modification of best practices
- Advise administration team to add new service lines for new waste streams
- Assist in month end close procedures and reporting
What You Will Need
- Drivers Licence + reliable transport
- Able to pass a Drug and Alcohol screen
- Willing to undertake a police check
- Fatigue Management/ Chain of Responsibility experience or exposure
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively
- A robust focus on health and safety
- High attention to detail and problem solving focused
